Nick is in an excellent position to advise Elstob Auctioneers clients in this niche area, with a career in the watch industry spanning more than 30 years.
He first came to the North East in 1989 to take up a management position with Northern Goldsmiths and was soon promoted to General Manager of the flagship Blackett Street store in Newcastle. With a Retail Jewellers Diploma awarded by the National Association of Jewellers, Nick has detailed working experience with most major brands of watches, including Rolex, Omega, Breitling, TAG Heuer, Cartier and Longines.
He is currently an independent sales manager for several European-based watch manufacturers, including Michel Herbelin (France), Bruno Söhnle (Germany), Dietrich (Switzerland) and Gagá (Italy).
Nick combines his passion for watches with another keen interest – football! He is happy to share his knowledge of both subjects! He worked as Football Secretary for York City FC and was part of the London 2012 Olympics team that hosted the football matches played at St. James Park, Newcastle.
